Lampard the new Derby Boss

Mm, I see him starting well - he has enough profile to motivate a young team - I wonder how he'll cope, though, after the inevitable defeats and dressing room squabbles? What do you think?

Wasn't he going to be a Tory MP?
I'm sure I read that in more than one place

Fully deserves this chance after grafting his way through the lower leagues, achieving results with a potent mix of tactical nous and man management. It was inevitable that his record would catch the eye of Championship club eventually.

I keep hoping to never see this cunt ever again.
First he comes back from the us and turns up at city Then he retires but ends up all over the fucking tv Now this.
I pray he gets sacked before the end of the year and disappears forever.

Massive gamble. Will be interesting to see how it goes.
Going back to his time with us; it's such a shame the way that he left after his old man and Saggy Chops were sacked.
He didn't help himself though with the shit that he spouted after leaving us and he got the stick that he deserved, for me.
Still, he was proper West Ham - like his old man - and it's such a shame that he didn't achieve anything with us like his dad did.
I guess that he has no regrets though seeing what he achieved at that plastic post-Euro '96 cunt club in west London.

Supposedly taking Jody Morris from Chelsea with him as his assistant Morris has been in charge of the Chelsea teams that have won lots of trophies and can imagine them getting the players that leave there or that Chelsea want to loan out ... Tammy Abraham maybe
JT-sey seems nailed on as his first signing

I think he's hoping to bring in a few loan signings from his contacts at Chelsea and Man City. I think this is the only way he's going to get them up next season. It'll be interesting if he turns into a keep it tight, negative coach or will he be able to play more expansively. It's a hard league, as people have said, and wiley old cunty managers, who have been around and know the league, have the advantage, but he might come in with a fresh approach and momentum might do it. I hope we get Derby in one of the cups next season.

He smeared the fans throughout his time at Chelsea. He was as obsessed with us as he was upset, which always made me laugh heartily.
Hope the fat cunt fails miserably.

All over East Midlands news up here and after Frank took questions from the press they talked to that Henry Winter bloke (the sport writer ) asking him if Frank had the strong personality and will power to be a good manager his reply was very amusing. He talked about knowing Frank the time when West Ham fans called him Fat Frank and in return Frank brought some spiked ruining shoes to get super fit to show every one he was dedicated and a true professional.
So any success next season it will be all down to us !

As much as all us West Ham fans despise him you cant deny the fact that he is an intelligent man. He always talks sense when he is a pundit so it will be interesting to see how he manages his players

It will be interesting to see how things pan out for him. He has spent the better part of his career with good international to world class level players day in day out. Sometimes people of this ilk struggle to come to terms with having to deal with a squad of players none of whom could hold a candle to the players he is used to.

Wish him all the luck in the world, but someone else who has got a job because of his name instead of warranting the job!

It’s a tough league and there will be high expectations as they have been close & then cocked it up in recent seasons. Hopefully they will lose 5-0 at home to Forest early on & he wears a white tracksuit not realising he looks like a Las Vegas Elvis
